Please read first, and then scroll down
for our adoption/foster application.
PLEASE NOTE: Incomplete applications will not be processed.
Thank you for contacting us about a rescued dog.
Prior to emailing us, it is quite possible that any questions you may have
can be answered by looking over our website.
We encourage you to research the breed of the dog you would like to adopt
before contacting us about that particular dog.
Please answer each question truthfully, and please elaborate on your answers.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
We take placing our dogs very seriously.
We do not sell them, we adopt them.
We will require a home visit with all family members present, as well as any pets in the household.
We also like to do a follow-up visit approximately one month after placement.
Our minimum adoption donation for all dogs has been reduced to $200.00
We are closing our doors and all dogs must find permanent homes by March 1, 2008.
The adoption donation helps to recover a small portion of what we spend for each dog.
Our veterinary expenses are enormous.
We do not receive any outside funding whatever, our rescue is funded solely by one person - our founder.
Finally, we have no paid employees. We are all volunteers with families and jobs of our own.
We do this for our love of animals.
PLEASE READ HOW OUR PROCESS WORKS
1) We MUST receive your completed adoption application FIRST before proceeding.
2) We check all references. If your application has been approved, we will then find a volunteer in your area to do your home visit. This volunteer does not have access to our dogs and will not bring the dog to your home visit.
3) If your home visit goes well, you can then adopt the dog.
4) PLEASE REMEMBER WE ARE VOLUNTEERS AND WE DO NOT RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR OUR TRAVEL COSTS, ETC. Therefore, please do not ask or expect us to meet you several times with the dog before you adopt him or her.

I have answered all questions honestly and to the best of my ability. I understand that any misrepresentations of fact may result in the immediate removal of the adopted pet from my home. I have never been legally accused of, or convicted of, animal cruelty or neglect. I understand that a background check may be performed, and that if approved for adoption, I may be asked to provide proof of residency, and (if a homeowner), proof of ownership. If a renter, I understand that my landlord will be contacted.
